Senior Engineer - Nuclear Assurance

Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer - Nuclear Assurance with a background in the nuclear sector to be engaged on a permanent basis in Barrow‑in‑Furness on a hybrid working basis.

• Carrying out verification and compliance activities to ensure adherence to Authorisation Conditions and internal arrangements.
• Maintaining compliance documentation including the Compliance Matrix, Verification Plans, and contributing to reporting dashboards.
• Supporting the regulatory interface and assisting with internal and external inspection programmes.
• Collaborating with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Test & Commissioning teams to deliver robust compliance outcomes.

• Experience in nuclear regulation or nuclear compliance.
• Background in a highly regulated industry such as nuclear, oil & gas, defence, or aerospace.
• Previous experience within Quality Assurance, Engineering, or Product Assurance.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining compliance and safety standards.
