Prep Cook; Temporary

Job Summary

We are hiring immediately for a temporary PREP COOK position at Saint Andrews School, Barrington, RI. Schedule is Friday through Monday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Fixed pay is $18.00 per hour. Free meals, uniforms, and laundering service are available.

• Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Complete daily production worksheets and waste log sheets. Taste completed meals to ensure quality.
• Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Store, label, and date all food items according to policy and follow HACCP guidelines.
• Complete all required documentation, reports, and logs as required.
• Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time.
• Serve customers efficiently and friendly manner at multiple stations.
• Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
