Job Summary

Fed Ex is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our team as Seasonal Fed Ex Ground Handlers during our peak operational period. As a Ground Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring packages are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently to meet Fed Exs high standards of service and customer satisfaction.

• Load, unload, sort, and scan packages within the Fed Ex Ground facility.

• Handle packages of varying sizes and weights in a safe and efficient manner.

• Operate basic material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and conveyor systems.

• Ensure accurate package placement and routing according to delivery destinations.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

• Follow all Fed Ex safety procedures, policies, and operational guidelines.

• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily volume targets.

• Report damaged packages, safety concerns, or operational issues promptly.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull packages up to 75 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

• Basic communication skills in English (verbal and written).

• Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding, warehouse environment.

• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays during peak season.

• No prior warehouse or logistics experience required;

• Previous experience in warehousing, package handling, or logistics is an advantage but not mandatory.

• On-the-job training will be provided to ensure success in the role.
