Asset Pool is a world leader in digital asset management and smart inspection software. Operating in over 70 countries, we provide critical infrastructure that industries, from fire safety to heavy machinery, rely on for compliance and operational integrity.

The successful candidate will join our Core Platform Team, which is responsible for the engine driving our global revenue. We are seeking an Intermediate Fullstack Engineer to lead the development of this primary product.

This role goes beyond just coding. We are looking for an ambitious Intermediate Engineer ready to take technical ownership. You will be the primary steward of the Core Platform, ensuring it remains robust, performant, and feature-rich for our enterprise clients.

You will manage the full lifecycle of features, from architecting the Postgres schema and writing Laravel business logic to crafting the frontend experience in Vue.js.

• Backend: PHP / Laravel
• Frontend: Vue.js & Vuex for state management
• Database: Postgres
• API: RESTful architecture
• Infrastructure: AWS, Terraform

• Fullstack Feature Ownership: Design and implement end-to-end features, ensuring seamless integration between the Laravel API, Vue.js frontend, and mobile application.
• Database Management: Optimize and maintain our Postgres database, ensuring data integrity and query performance for growing datasets.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Utilize Terraform to manage and scale our AWS environment, ensuring high availability of the Core Platform.
• API Excellence: Maintain and document REST APIs that power both our web platform and mobile application.
• Product Stewardship: Act as the technical voice for the Core product, identifying technical debt and advocating for necessary refactors or upgrades.

• Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in fullstack web development.
• Laravel Expertise: Strong grasp of the Laravel ecosystem.
• Vue.js Specialist: High proficiency in Vue.js and Vuex, comfortable managing complex component hierarchies and global state.
• Relational Data Expert: Deep experience with Postgres, including complex joins, indexing strategies, and schema design.

  Practical experience with AWS and working knowledge of Terraform.
• Independence: A self-starter who thrives with a high degree of autonomy and is comfortable making technical decisions.

• Dev Ops Leanings: Experience with CI/CD pipeline configuration (e.g., Git Hub Actions).
• Testing Culture: Good test coverage using PHPUnit.
