Overnight Shift Security Supervisor – Alliston, Newmarket

At Securiguard we recognize and reward hard work. We are seeking a permanent full‑time Security Supervisor to be based in Alliston, Ontario, with a commutable commute. The role leads a dedicated team guarding a facility and protecting clients and assets.

• Minimum of 1.5 years Security Supervisory experience, preferably in government buildings, high‑profile sites, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels.
• Valid Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR certificate.
• Police Foundations, Community Justice Services or Law Enforcement Diploma is an asset.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.

• Supervise a team of security officers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Oversee all security posts such as Mobile, Communications Center, Gatehouses (shipping, receiving, access control), and Plant Reception/Patrol.
• Ensure all security guards are properly uniformed and equipped.
• Maintain liaison with Manager of Security Operations, Assistant Manager, Communications Centre Supervisor, and Trailer Control Supervisor.
• Establish daily work schedules and fill shift vacancies.
• Prepare and submit shift reports, employee evaluations, incident and other reports.
• Assist with performance evaluations of all members of a large security force.
• Effectively manage emergency situations.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Monitor surveillance systems, alarm systems, and access control systems.

New Tecumseth, Ontario (on site)

Salary: $19.92 to $20.74 per hour
