Position: Security Guard - FT - Innisfil
Join our growing team!
We are seeking a dependable and highly self-motivated Security Guard to protect an abandoned, restricted-access site consisting of multiple buildings and surrounding grounds,
minutes from Barrie. This position requires the ability to work independently
, conduct routine patrols, and prevent unauthorized access to secured property.
The ideal candidate is alert, disciplined, and comfortable working alone in a low-occupancy, high-responsibility environment.
Schedule: Rotational schedule - 14:00 - 02:00, including alternate weekends
Employment Type: Full-time
Pay Rate: $18.35/hour

Conduct scheduled and random foot patrols across multiple buildings and exterior areasMonitor for trespassing, vandalism, theft, or other unauthorized activityEnforce no-trespassing policies and secure restricted areasPerform building checks, perimeter inspections, and access point verificationIdentify and report safety hazards, structural issues, or suspicious activityRespond appropriately to alarms or disturbancesMaintain accurate patrol logs and incident reportsCommunicate with supervisors or law enforcement as requiredWork with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergenciesQualifications for Security Guard
Be authorized to work in CanadaHold a valid security licenseFirst aid certification requiredStrong report writing skillsAbility to work alone with minimal supervisionReliable transportation to a remote or limited-access siteDependable, punctual, and professional demeanorStrong proficiency with technologyAbility to stand and walk throughout shiftThis posting is for a position that is currently vacant within the organization.
