The Associate Insurance Advisor II supports and develops the agency operation primarily through sales and service, applying a broad knowledge of The Co-operators insurance products and services including personal lines (auto, home).
The Opportunity
Responsibilities- Sales, service and profitable growth of both personal lines (auto, home).
- Advise and recommend coverages and policies that best meet client needs.
- Identify and recommend additional products/services to benefit the client.
- Complete front line risk assessment and selection following underwriting guidelines.
- Complete inspections and re-inspections.
- Achieve individual goals for client service, sales, quality and productivity and contribute to overall agency sales and growth goals.
- Respond to client questions and concerns, resolve customer complaints and escalate issues appropriately.
- Proactively complete client reviews on the auto, home portfolios.
- Remain focused and optimistic in pursuit of a goal, manage time effectively in the quest of client satisfaction.
- Leverage information about client needs to qualify sales opportunities and clearly convey messages.
- Commit to continuous improvement and building productive client relationships to exceed client expectations.
- Be an effective team player and provide guidance to support the development of peers.
- Willing and able to obtain OTL (Other Than Life) license within 2 months.
- Previous direct customer sales experience is an asset.
- You will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment if you are the successful candidate.

Expected salary range $43,550 to $72,583. The salary amount is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary based on local market conditions, geography and relevant factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education. Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
