Grocery Stock Associate

We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser / Retail Store Clerk to support a growing wholesale distributor in south end Barrie. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking guaranteed hours and can commit to a full time work schedule.

• Day Shift (8:30am– 5:30pm) Mon - Sun
• $17.60/hr starting wage
• 40 – 45 hrs per week and weekly pay

• Receiving dry goods (flour, rice, sugar, various boxed food)
• Unloading from skid and neatly organizing on shelves, helping customers
• Merchandising of various store goods
• Retrieving shopping carts and bringing in store
• Stock shelves and keep stock clean and in order, general housekeeping

• 2+ years in retail sector or merchandising role
• Excellent work ethic, great attendance, team player
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to at least 25 lbs - 50 lbs throughout day
• Positive attitude and collaborative approach to working in a team
• Previous experience working with SKU's, basic understanding of inventory
