Job Description

The Culinary Supervisor plays a key leadership role in supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in delivering exceptional food quality, consistency, and kitchen operations. This position is hands-on, fast paced, and ideal for a motivated culinary professional who leads by example and thrives in a high-volume, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support daily kitchen operations, ensuring all dishes meet Moxies  standards for quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate culinary team members during service
  • Ensure proper food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating standards are followed
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new kitchen team members
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety (HACCP compliance)
  • Monitor prep levels, inventory, and minimize waste
  • Step in to support service during peak periods and help manage workflow
  • Communicate effectively with front of house leadership to ensure a seamless guest experience

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or senior line cook role in a high volume restaurant
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for food, teamwork and hospitality
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen best practices
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
