- Receive and convert leads in a timely manner
- Develop and work with clients to fulfil their real estate needs
- Determine property value through skilled comparative market analysis
- Develop business networks and collaborate with contractors, mortgage lenders, and lawyers
- Develop expert knowledge regarding real estate best practices, market standards, mortgage financing, neighbourhoods, schools, and all buying and selling considerations
- Advise clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements, and related matters.
- Accompany buyers during visits to and inspections of the property, and advise them on the suitability and value of the property they are visiting.
- Prepare documents such as representation contracts, listing and purchase agreements, and lease agreements.
- Deliver promotional presentations to current or prospective customers.
- Attend conventions, seminars, and staff and association meetings to learn about real estate markets.
- Postsecondary diploma or degree
- Knowledge of local area and properties
- Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills
- A solid understanding of the difference between empathy and sympathy and customer service and customer experience.
- Bonus if you have strong connections with mortgage originators/banks, title companies, real estate lawyers, architects, and contractors
- Weekdays, evenings and weekend availability
- Fulfill office duty obligations
- Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
