We’re currently seeking motivated individuals to join our Assembly and Production Departments. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our Operations team. Primary Responsibilities:
Learn to handle optics, read blueprints, and use measuring equipment
Assemble products according to provided specifications
Utilize calibrated equipment as part of the manufacturing process
Follow work flow instructions from Supervision/Group Leads
Use good visual acuity to identify imperfections in parts or assemblies
Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform basic data entry and computer work
Share in the commitment towards a positive workplace culture
Qualifications &
Experience:
Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Basic computer literacy and confidence using technology
Ability to understand technical issues and make sound decisions
Comfortable working with the metric system
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Self-motivated with a consistently positive attitude
Capable of working day or afternoon shifts and remaining seated or standing for extended periods
The starting rate for this position is $20.00/hour.
