Executive Director

We’re seeking an inspiring Executive Director to lead the Foundation’s fundraising, community presence, and overall operations. This role is key to advancing our mission, strengthening donor relationships, and ensuring long-term sustainability.

• Lead strategic planning and growth initiatives, including new and diversified fundraising opportunities
• Serve as the public face, building strong relationships with donors, partners, and the community
• Drive fundraising efforts including major gifts, annual giving, grants, and signature events
• Champion exceptional donor stewardship, storytelling, and engagement
• Lead, mentor, and support a small, dedicated team while fostering a collaborative, values-driven culture
• Oversee budgeting, financial stewardship, compliance, and reporting
• Work closely with the Board of Directors to support governance, planning, and decision-making
• Oversee communications, marketing, and social media

• University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in fundraising and relationship management
• Proven success securing major gifts and sponsor ships ($10K+)
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to inspire and align teams
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
• Strategic, empathetic, and community-focused leadership style
• Experience in non-profit, healthcare, or palliative care environments is an asset
