Student IT Technical Assistant

• Assist in the imaging, configuration, deployment, and testing of computer workstations, printers and network devices within a LAN and WAN environment.
• Install software applications to specified requirements and deploy to end users.
• Conduct inventory of existing workstation and network components including software versions.
• Troubleshoot and/or replace workstations and network devices at carious County locations.
• Assist in the day to day operations within a Help Desk environment.

• Must be a registered full-time post-secondary student during the preceding academic year and be returning to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year.
• Enrolled in a technical school program.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Driver's License with access to a vehicle.
• Familiarity with computer hardware configuration, printers, and network concepts.
• Software experience with Windows, MS Office, and Internet applications.
• Good keyboarding skills.
• Ability to work some weekends, if necessary.
• Acriminal reference check from within the last 6 months.
