Start Rate: $17.71; 520 Hour Rate: $19.93; 1‑Year Rate: $22.14

The Kitchen Utility Attendant is an important part of ensuring success from the kitchen to the dining room. You are responsible for providing service to the food and beverage department in all aspects of dish washing, as well as overall back‑of‑house sanitation. Successful candidates embrace health and safety, attention to detail and strive to provide excellent relations with fellow team members.

• Loads/unloads dishes, glassware and cutlery into top‑quality cleaning machines/equipment and stores clean dishes.
• Maintains back‑of‑house areas including storage rooms, kitchens, utilities, halls and bars.
• Removes food from dishes and places dirty dishes on conveyor belt.
• Steam‑clean and scrub tile surfaces, floors.
• Picks up and wheels garbage pails from back‑of‑house areas to compactors.
• Loads and compresses cardboard, tin and garbage into compactors.

• Previous kitchen services experience and knowledge of cleaning equipment/chemicals is preferred, but not essential.
• Able to lift, push and pull heavy objects of up to 50 kg repeatedly during the shift.
• Able to constantly stand, walk, bend, twist and be exposed to heat, chemicals, noise, steam, odors and slippery floors.
