Senior Cost Accountant

About the Opportunity

• Analyze and report on production, inventory, and overhead costs
• Manage month- and year-end close related to inventory and cost of sales
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies and analyze product margins
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and pricing strategies
• Design and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing and financial performance
• Create ad hoc financial reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for leadership.
• Calculate and validate monthly sales commissions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve cost-related issues
• Contribute to process improvements and internal control enhancements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–8 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, data modeling)
• Experience with Smartsheets and/or BI tools are assets
• CPA/CMA designation is a plus
• Knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and process mapping

$60,000 - $80,000 /year
