Summary We are currently seeking an experienced, driven, and dedicated Engineering Division Leader (Municipal) to join a highly successful multi-disciplinary engineering group based in the Barrie region. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to take on a leadership role with a strong focus on business development, project management, and team leadership. The successful candidate will be a progressive, collaborative and energetic professional engineer with at least 8 years of consulting experience, with a strong engineering leadership background in municipal infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities: Business Development
- Identify and pursue project opportunities in both existing and emerging markets
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to generate new business
- Lead proposal development, including work plans, budgets, and schedules
- Manage multiple municipal infrastructure projects from inception to completion
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and internal teams
- Mentor, develop and lead a team of Project Managers and technical support staff
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- Support career development and technical growth within the group
- P.Eng. in the province of Ontario, registered with PEO
- Minimum of 8-15 years of engineering experience within the consulting engineering sector with a focus on municipal / civil engineering projects such as:
Water mains, Pumping Stations, Sewers, Roads etc - Minimum 3+ years of leadership experience
- Technical leader in relevant sector
- Demonstrated abilities as a team leader, responsible for managing a team of support staff
- Undertake business development with a desire to do more
- Understanding of business metrics and company policies and can work with staff to achieve desired outcomes
- Demonstrated high level of commitment
- Strong, relevant design and project management experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent technical and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of appropriate design and analysis software
- Full knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines and standards
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
