OverviewMoore review Development Management Inc. is a growing land development consulting firm providing civil engineering and construction administration services across Ontario, specializing in subdivision and development projects.
We are seeking a Senior Construction Administrator to support construction‑phase delivery of land development and municipal servicing projects. The role is primarily focused on civil engineering inspection and contract administration, including construction documentation, coordination, and communication with contractors, developers, and municipal representatives.
This is a part‑time contract position with flexible hours aligned to construction activity. Initial term expected to be approximately 6 months, with potential for extension.
Work Arrangement- Field‑based with site attendance required for inspections and meetings
- Remote work permitted for reporting and administrative tasks when not on site
- Flexible schedule aligned with construction activity
- Perform civil engineering inspections for subdivision and site servicing works
- Monitor earthworks, underground services, roadworks, and surface works
- Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, OPSS, and municipal standards
- Confirm quantities and quality of installed works
- Identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions
- Collect construction data for as‑built records
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain construction documentation
- Attend and document site meetings
- Assist with preparation of progress payment certificates
- Review contractor quantities and track deficiencies
- Assist with preparation of change orders
- Coordinate geotechnical and materials testing services
- Support project closeout and municipal acceptance
- Liaise with contractors, developers, and municipal representatives
- Provide construction updates to clients
- Respond to construction‑related inquiries
- Support tracking of substantial performance and deficiencies
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology
- 5–10+ years experience in construction inspection and/or contract administration for land development or municipal infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of OPSS and municipal construction standards
- Experience preparing inspection reports, progress payment certificates, and construction documentation
- Experience with subdivision servicing and site plan projects
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a field‑based role
- Valid driver’s license
C.E.T., EIT, or P.Eng designation
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $75.00-$95.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
