Automotive Service Technician

Bayfield Ford Lincoln is looking for an  Automotive Service Technician (310S)  to add to their team in Barrie.

Our  Automotive Service Technicians  are an integral part of our day-to-day business. The  Licensed Technician  is responsible for skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of vehicles.

At HG, our  Technicians  receive the most up-to-date training on various platforms: in-class manufacturer training, online modules, and hands‑on shop training. Pay:  Starting at $44 per hour; depending on experience.

Job Duties

Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned.

Diagnose the source of any malfunctions and perform repair.

Qualify all vehicles for warranty coverage prior to performing warranty repairs.

Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.

Perform road tests using safe driving standards.

What We Look For

Valid Automotive Service Technician Certification (310S).

Experience working in a technician position.

G License and a clean Driver's Abstract.

Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs.

Good time management skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Able to work well with a team.

A desire to achieve the very best in customer service and teamwork.
