Student Tourism Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist with social media, including on-site social media posts
• Assist with website data entry, changes, updates
• Assist with updating tourism image gallery and Crowdriff
• Assist in the maintenance of accurate inventory records
• Delivery of brochures and racks to tourism businesses and organizations in Simcoe County and Southern Ontario.
• Assist in the preparation of publications for shipment across North America
• Assist in Travel Centre, travel counselling

• Must be a registered full‑time post‑secondary student during the preceding academic year and be returning to school on a full‑time basis in the next academic year.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Driver's License with access to a vehicle (Minimum G-2 Level Preferred).
• Comfortable driving a delivery can long distances.
• Marketing, website and social media skills.
• Computer literacy in MS Word and Excel would be an asset.
• Be able to work some weekends.
• Ability to do heavy lifting (estimated 40 lbs).
• Criminal Records Check that is less than six (6) months old at time of hire.

Salary Grade: $18.89 - $22.48
