The Barre Unified Union School District is seeking Special Education Paraeducators to work with our students at Barre City Elementary & Middle School.

Responsibilities for the Special Education Para educator will vary depending on the assignment, but typically include:

• 1:1 support and/or small group support
• Eyes‑on supervision during class, transition times and lunch
• Redirection
• Data collection
• Consultation and communication with teachers and case manager

This job comes with a full benefits package. The pay rate for this position is $20 to $21 depending on experience and education.

Applicants must have a high school degree/GED and successfully complete a Para educator Assessment. This assessment is administered by appointment at the BUUSD Central Office.

Or an Associate's Degree / minimum of 48 undergraduate credits.
