The Role SEA is going through an exciting period of expansion, as we continue to deliver cutting edge defence engineering technology to a wide range of customers. Right now were looking for dedicated, dependable people to join our production teams as we grow our facility and increase activity on some varied and interesting projects. Assembly Technician will be based at our Barnstaple site.
This role does require being onsite 5 days a week. The salary for this role is up to £28k, depending on experience. Whatyoullbedoing Working in a multi-skilled production team you will be responsible for providing assembly and machining support to Production and Engineering teams. Working closely with the Wiring Technicians, Test Technicians and Engineers to make sure our products are delivered to customers on time and with the highest quality standards Training support for company apprentices to gain experience with machine tools, developing the individuals skills, promoting shop H&S and instilling good housekeeping culture About our company At SEA, we develop and deliver advanced solutions to make our world safer, cleaner and more efficient.

What we do ask for is an open mind to learn new skills in a manufacturing environment, and a positive attitude toward delivering results. Perhaps youve done practical, hands-on work as part of a hobby, or a subject at school? Maybe youve always been interested in how things work in a factory environment? Fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and good communication skills are necessary, but apart from that, if youre keen to learn (and earn as you go!)
