We are looking for a proactive, organised, and people‑focused Zone Coordinator to support the delivery of exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards across the hospital. Your leadership will help ensure patients, staff, and visitors experience a safe and comfortable environment every day.

• Lead and coordinate a team of domestic cleaners across your zone.
• Ensure all work meets National Specifications for Cleanliness.
• Manage rotas, allocate resources, and monitor team performance.
• Oversee the safe and efficient use of cleaning materials and equipment.
• Build strong working relationships with ward managers, matrons, and service users.
• Carry out regular cleanliness audits and take action where needed.
• Support training, coaching, and development of your team.
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety and infection control policies.

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a cleaning team.
• Previous supervisory or team‑leading experience.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A flexible, professional approach suited to a healthcare environment.

• Experience in healthcare settings.
• Customer service experience.
• Food hygiene or health & safety qualifications.
• Ability skills:
  Communications, Customer Service, Manual.
• Competency skills:
  Problem Solving, Teamwork, Time Management, Working on own Initiative.
