Senior Pharmacy Assistant (Dispensary)As the Senior Assistant you will assist the Technician in the smooth running of the Dispensary. You will be supervising and assisting with the training of junior staff and carry out a final accuracy check of medications.
You will assist with the dispensing of medication for our inpatient, outpatient, discharge and Controlled Drug prescriptions. You will liaise with the wider multidisciplinary team, supervise and assist with training junior staff and perform a final accuracy check of medications.
Consideration will be given for strong candidates who may not meet the essential criteria to undertake this role on a developmental basis with set competency targets. Roles offered on a developmental basis will be banded lower (band
2) until competency targets are met.
Any successful applicant will be expected to participate in flexible working which will include weekend, late duty and Bank Holiday rotas.
We offer a generous package of relocation support, including an annual accommodation allowance or a relocation allowance to help ease the transition for those moving to North Devon.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week
