Nurse Specialist (Arrhythmia)

We are pleased to advertise this band 7 vacancy within the Arrhythmia team in North Devon for a competent and experienced Arrhythmia Specialist Nurse to join our small and friendly team. The post holder will manage patients with arrhythmias with support of the wider team and consultants; implant loop recorders and help run the nurse-led elective DC cardioversion lists.
Job responsibilities- Manage patients with arrhythmias with support of the wider team and consultants.
- Implant loop recorders.
- Help run the nurse-led elective DC cardioversion lists.
- Registered nurse with extensive post-registration experience in cardiology.
- Ideally has worked within the arrhythmia setting and has robust knowledge in this field.
- Possesses a qualification in non‑medical prescribing.
- Has undertaken a master's module in 'Investigation and Management of Arrhythmias and Blackouts' or is willing to work towards these qualifications.
For candidates that do not fully meet the essential criteria, we would consider appointing as a band 6 developmental post with the expectation that a set training plan will be completed within an agreed time. The post holder would then transition to band 7 once fully meeting the requirements of the role.
Working Pattern: Mon‑Fri – excluding bank holidays, 35 hours a week.
