Role Summary

In this key role, you’ll provide expert care, support, and education to patients with prostate cancer throughout their treatment journey—from diagnosis through to survivorship or palliative care.

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as a clinical expert in prostate cancer nursing, offering holistic, patient‑centred care
  • Support patients and families at every stage of the cancer pathway
  • Lead nurse‑led clinics and coordinate complex care plans
  • Collaborate closely with urologists, oncologists, radiographers, and wider MDT teams
  • Provide teaching, mentorship, and guidance to junior staff and students
  • Contribute to service development and audit to improve outcomes for men with prostate cancer

Are you an experienced oncology or urology nurse ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a dynamic, compassionate, and autonomous Prostate Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team at Royal university of healthcare NHS trust Northern.

Working Pattern: 29.25 hours per week. 8:30 to 5:30
