Are you an experienced Band 5 Dietitian ready to progress or an existing Band 6 looking to specialise in the areas of diabetes and gastroenterology?

As a Specialist Outpatient Dietitian at the Royal Devon for our Northern services, you’ll be joining a small, friendly team of Dietitians based at North Devon District Hospital in Barnstaple.

We’re looking for a HCPC registered Dietitian, with experience in diabetes and gastroenterology. The role would be suitable for an experienced Band 5 looking to progress or an existing Band 6 wanting to specialise in the areas of diabetes and gastroenterology.

This is primarily an outpatient role with occasional inpatient diabetes cover for the wards, working as a key clinician within the diabetes multidisciplinary teams, including the Antenatal Diabetes Service.

Our innovative service includes working with pre‑insulin initiation patients to prevent or delay the requirement for insulin. You’ll also be delivering and developing clinics and patient education groups.

  • Potential for Dietetic‑led gestational diabetes management
  • Involvement with the National Diabetes Audits
