Ilfracombe, a thriving, locally based main contractor with a solid pipeline of new build and refurbishment works is seeking to expand their team to manage forthcoming projects that are about to commence.

We need a competent and diligent Working Supervisor with a trade background to assist on a refurbishment scheme in North Devon.

• Co-ordinate the scheme to successful completion.
• Liaise with the client, internal and external trades and push the programme.
• Ensure the site is H&S compliant, track progress and ultimate delivery on an online construction portal (IT literate and familiar with this process).

• Relevant project history.
• SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS & First aid at work.
• Good communication, excellent H&S awareness and willingness to lead from the front.
• Hands‑on ability and experience managing your own trades workload or wider scheme delivery and site team.

The scheme is due to commence imminently and the contractor has a steady stream of work. Flexible working location and occasional away stays (dig provided) could lead to a run of work with potential for permanency.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong trade knowledge and experience of leading small teams to explore the supervisory/management side further, or for someone experienced who is seeking a step back.
