If you know the coach tour world, you know it's built on relationships, reputation and timing. This Business Development Manager role puts you at the centre of that commercial engine, driving group bookings, building national trade partnerships and turning opportunity into occupancy for a leading North Devon resort.
This isn't account management on autopilot. It's about growing a high-value channel, getting in front of operators, and positioning the resort as a go‑to UK destination for coach and group travel.

- Identifying, approaching and securing new partnerships with tour operators and group organisers
- Driving outbound sales activity, networking and trade engagement to win new business
- Strengthening relationships with regional and national operators to increase repeat bookings
- Analysing market trends and competitor positioning to inform pricing and packages
- Representing the resort at trade shows, industry events and familiarisation visits
- Previous business development or new business sales experience
- Essential experience within the coach tour industry, with existing trade relationships
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to translate market insight into revenue growth
- Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasts and performance reporting
- Proven ability to negotiate and secure partnership agreements
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, full-time, with occasional weekend commitments for events and familiarisation trips.
