Salary :£46,000 per annum

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and professional Heating & Plumbing Engineer to join a growing maintenance team. This is a mobile role covering mainly schools, and light commercial sites across London.

The successful candidate will be experienced, reliable, and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship while working independently in a customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Domestic gas boiler breakdowns, fault finding, and parts replacement
Gas safety inspections and certification
Domestic boiler installations and full boiler swaps
Installation of cylinders, pipework, pumps, and valves
Power flushing of heating systems
Domestic heating and hot water wiring
Y-Plan and S-Plan systems
Hive and smart control conversions

Confident working within commercial plant rooms when required
Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer care
Accurate completion of job reports using PDA/mobile systems

Essential Requirements

Gas Safe Registered – Domestic
Strong experience in domestic heating and plumbing
Good working knowledge of commercial plant rooms
Competent with pumps, valves, and system upgrades
Clean DBS check (essential – work carried out in schools)
Full UK driving licence
Comfortable driving and working across London
Professional appearance and attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
