Job SummaryModern, forward‑thinking veterinary practice in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, is seeking a passionate Veterinary Surgeon keen on Emergency and Critical Care. This role focuses on inpatients and emergency cases with a daytime schedule of 12‑hour shifts.
ResponsibilitiesOversee the care of inpatients and emergency cases coming through the practice’s A+E service, ensuring a varied and medically engaging caseload. Perform emergency procedures and coordinate with a skilled team to provide comprehensive, high‑standard care.
Key Requirements- Highly skilled with excellent technical capability.
- Strong communication skills, able to support clients during stressful or upsetting situations.
- Organised, open, honest, and trustworthy.
- Enjoy working as part of a dynamic, fast‑paced team.
- Share the practice’s vision of providing outstanding care within a not‑for‑profit environment.
40 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts.
