Manufacturing Operative Trainee

As part of our client's continued growth, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Operative Trainee to join our client's team and develop hands‑on skills across multiple areas of our production environment.

This is an upskilling role designed to build you into a multi‑skilled manufacturing professional. If you’re practical, motivated, and keen to learn, we’ll provide the training and support to help you succeed.

• Operating a Forklift Truck (FLT) (training provided if required)
• Assisting with and learning pyramid rolling processes
• Operating machinery including Press Brake and other fabrication and production equipment
• Developing hands‑on welding skills and techniques
• Reading and working from technical drawings
• Supporting general manufacturing and fabrication activities
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Interest in engineering, fabrication, or manufacturing
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Positive attitude and reliability
• Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential

• Full training across multiple manufacturing disciplines
• Opportunity to gain recognised certifications (e.g. FLT)

• Starting hourly rate of £12.21, until fully skilled and then this will increase.
