Permanent CNC Turner – Precision Engineering

Hours:

Monday–Thursday 7:30am–4:30pm, Friday 7:30am–12:30pm (optional overtime at x1.5, 8 hours per week always available, potential earnings up to 45K PA)

The business operates a state‑of‑the‑art precision machining facility with advanced CNC milling and CNC turning capabilities to produce high‑quality, precision‑engineered components. It supports a wide range of industries and projects — from prototype components to medium batch production — helping customers reduce downtime with reliable, accurate machining and fast turnaround times.

• CNC turning and milling of precision parts
• Production of components to tight tolerances for engineering assemblies
• Sub‑contract machining for various market sectors
• Fast turnaround services, including prototype machining and short notice manufacturing
• Added value engineering services with quality focus under ISO 9001 standards

• Set up and operate CNC turning machines
• Produce high‑quality precision components from engineering drawings
• Select tools, fixtures and materials for the job
• Perform routine machine checks and maintenance
• Work to production schedules while maintaining quality standards

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner
• Competent reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Experience with Siemens controls advantageous (but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent workmanship
• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Permanent employment with regular structured hours
• Overtime available at enhanced rates (x1.5)
