Salary:
Metals processor – £27,500 yearly;
Metals sorter – £29,000 yearly. Days Mon‑Fri 7:30am‑4:00pm.

Duties Include:

• Sort, grade, and process incoming materials.
• Prepare materials to the required quality standards.
• Use an XRF scanner to identify and verify materials.
• Operate processing equipment such as saws, shears, shredders, and blasting machinery.
• Keep basic records using IT systems.

Qualifications: The candidate must have experience in the recognition, identification, and reporting of special metal contamination within materials that may include foreign attachments, coatings, inserts, tips, repair welds.
