Overview
Warehouse Line Leader at Tender Group Srl—lead a line in our Distribution Centre, ensuring high performance, safety, and waste reduction.
Location and PayCompany Shop Group, Tankersley Distribution Centre, Wentworth Way, Barnsley, South Yorkshire S75 3DH
. Pay: £12.95 per hour plus £1.25 shift allowance.
Night Shift, 37.5 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday, 10 pm to 6 am. Full flexibility required for operational coverage, including weekends and bank holidays.
Role SummaryAssist Operations Supervisor in department plan and deliver outstanding service to members. Motivate team, maintain standards, promote safety, reduce waste, record incidents, support supervisor, and perform departmental tasks.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities- Report to Shift Supervisor and motivate the team to achieve daily performance goals.
- Effectively coordinate the team to deliver excellent outcomes.
- Maintain high standards and continuously seek improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
- Continuously review waste and implement reduction solutions.
- Encourage positive behaviours among colleagues.
- Support Shift Supervisor with shift and mid‑shift reviews.
- Support Shift Supervisor with daily huddles, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Record accidents and near‑miss incidents.
- Perform additional departmental tasks as required.
- Lead by example and uphold Company Shop Group values.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Plan and organise workloads effectively.
- Adhere to strict deadlines.
- Desire to develop and progress within the role.
- Commit to personal development and continued learning.
