Site Manager

Site Manager - Barnsley 3-month contract, potential to extend £20.29 per hour paid weekly Full time - 37 hours per week

JDR are currently working with the local authority in South Yorkshire to recruit a Site Manager to join the organisation. We're looking for an experienced manager to support a small team to ensure the best outcomes are achieved. The ideal candidate will have worked within a visitor attraction, visitor focused location with a knowledge of the heritage sector.

This role is a 3-month fixed term contract, however there is potential this can extend.

• Responsible for the overall day to day running of the site
• Opening and closing of the buildings
• Carrying out site checks and maintaining health and safety documentation
• Maintenance of internal facilities and asset teams
• Managing and supporting site teams including retail and income management alongside the commercial team
• Working collaboratively with a range of departments

• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within visitor attraction environment
• Awareness of the health and safety requirements and legislation
• People person who works well with various teams and individuals
• Problem solving skills to be confident dealing with unexpected issues on site
• Excellent communication skills
• Commercial awareness is also advantageous

Due to the nature of the role, successful candidates must be able to pass a DBS and referencing checks.
