Overview

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Cleaner to join our Barnsley Schools Account in Netherwood Academy, Dove Valley Way, Wombwell, Barnsley S73 8FE
. This role is based on site.

The salary is £12.82 per hour. The hours of work will be 12.5 hours per week: 5.30am to 8am or alternatively 3.15pm to 5.45pm. This can be discussed during interview.

Amey provides facilities and estate management services to the Barnsley Schools Private Finance Initiative across 11 schools, ensuring high-quality, safe, clean, and compliant learning environments for teachers and students. We work in partnership with clients and end-users to deliver 24/7 services to the highest standard with minimal disruption to the schools' daily operations.

• Providing a cleaning service that delivers to our contractual requirements
• Controlling stock levels and ordering consumables
• Operating machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
• Ensuring a high-quality service is provided to the building users at all times
• This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
• Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract
