Position: 3287 - Facilities Operative (Linen Room)

We are pleased to announce an opportunity has arisen within the Linen Room.

This role is for 20hrs per week Monday to Friday working hours will be .

Main duties of the job

As a new member of our Linen team, you will learn:

How the linen room operates and what impact it has on the rest of the hospital.

How to take receipt and sort Linen from our Laundry supplier and how the clean linen is distributed to wards and departments.

How to pack a linen transfer trolley.

How to assist with sorting and distributing clean uniforms across the hospital.

You will join a very loyal team with great teamwork who have worked together for several years and will make a new member of the team feel very welcome. It is a physical role but one that the team enjoy and thrive in as they provide a tremendous service to the hospital.
