Functional Assessor – Medacs Healthcare – Middle East

Salary: £39,000 – £40,500 per annum + OTE up to £46,575

Contract: Permanent | Full‑Time | Hybrid

Location: Barnsley

Are you an experienced NMC‑registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) or HCPC‑registered Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist ready for a new challenge? • Conduct face‑to‑face and telephone consultations for PIP in a professional and empathetic manner
• Analyse clinical information and medical evidence to produce clear, detailed and objective reports
• Work to set standards/targets and respond positively to feedback
• Operate independently while collaborating with clinical and administrative colleagues
• Stay up to date with DWP guidelines, policies and assessment criteria
• Engage in continuous learning to enhance clinical knowledge and practice
• Work from the assessment centre as required

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist
• Minimum 1 year’s UK clinical experience
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions
• UK right to work (sponsorship not available)
• Strong IT skills (minimum typing speed 35 WPM)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Recent clinical experience with a broad range of settings
• Ability to multi‑task and make objective, evidence‑based decisions

• Previous experience in functional assessment or clinical decision‑making
• Skilled in producing accurate, concise reports
