Temporary to Permanaent - Purchase Ledger Clerk

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing engineering business based in Barnsley for a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for an experienced accounts professional looking to join a busy and supportive finance team. This role will initially start on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently Matching, batching and coding invoices Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies Preparing payment runs Handling supplier queries and maintaining strong supplier relationships Assisting with month-end tasks as required Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties Requirements:
Previous experience in a purchase ledger / accounts payable role Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage high volumes of invoices in a fast-paced environment
