Trainee Management Accountant

Sewell Wallis is pleased to be working with a well-established and highly respected business based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, that is looking to recruit a Trainee Management Accountant.

• Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Assisting with accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
• Producing financial reports and analysis for senior management
• Working with dealership data to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Using Kerridge to extract and reconcile financial information
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Investigating variances and assisting with performance analysis
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Supporting year-end processes and audit preparation
• Working closely with operational teams to improve financial controls and reporting

• Previous experience within a dealership environment is essential
• Experience with in transactional finance and some understanding of management accounting
• Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical ability
• Confident Excel skills and experience working with finance systems including Kerridge
• Ambitious, motivated and keen to develop into a Management Accountant role
