Site Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a Site Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical and Mechanical bias to support the maintenance and reliability of power distribution assets. The successful applicant will have experience working in a suitable engineering sector and be comfortable carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities in live operational environments.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on power distribution equipment
Diagnose faults and support repairs to ensure continuity of supply
Conduct inspections, testing, and condition monitoring activities
Ensure all maintenance works are completed safely and in line with relevant standards
Complete maintenance records, reports, and site documentation
Liaise with site teams, supervisors, and contractors to coordinate works
Support continuous improvement of maintenance processes and site performance

Qualifications & Skills

Electrical and Mechanical engineering background
Experience working within power distribution or a closely related sector
Valid UK driving licence
Valid ECS card
Proven experience carrying out maintenance activities on electrical infrastructure
Strong awareness of health, safety, and compliance requirements
Experience working in operational or live environments
Understanding of UK electrical regulations and maintenance standards
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
