Competitive starting salary: £37,531, with overtime and bonus opportunities bringing earnings to over £40,000 per year. Travel time is covered and you’ll receive a company van (with personal use option) and fuel card. Salary reviewed after six months with a clear progression path supported by full manufacturer training at our in‑house facility. All specialist tools are provided.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be home‑based covering Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster. Your role includes servicing, repairing, and installing material‑handling equipment for a diverse range of clients, including high‑profile organisations. You’ll work on single‑ and three‑phase machinery, ensuring our equipment operates smoothly and efficiently to help customers achieve productivity goals. You’ll manage your own schedule, deliver excellent customer service, and tackle technical challenges head‑on.
QualificationsWe’re seeking a mechanical engineer with some electrical experience. Preferred background in automotive, HGV, LGV, PSV, plant, agricultural, construction equipment, REME or roadside recovery. Must have a valid UK driving licence and practical knowledge of mobile machinery, electrical drive and control systems, diesel and LPG engines, hydraulics, and computer‑based diagnostics. Previous field service experience is an advantage, but full product training will be provided.
