Are you a passionate History Teacher eager to bring the past to life for students? A Barnsley school is seeking an engaging educator to deliver inspiring history lessons and support students’ academic development.
About the School:

About the Role:
You will deliver engaging History lessons that encourage students to develop analytical thinking and a strong understanding of historical events.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging History lessons aligned with the curriculum.
• Encourage critical thinking and discussion among students.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student success.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
• Experience teaching History at KS3/KS4 preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
To work with GSL Education as a History Teacher, you should:
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
• Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
