Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Challenging Behaviour Support

Salary: £90 - £120 per day

A friendly primary school in Barnsley is looking for a compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their nurturing team. They require someone with a strong background in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour, ideally with a background in psychology or similar.

You will play a vital role in helping children feel safe and understood, using positive strategies to guide them towards better engagement with their learning. This is a fantastic chance to become a valued member of a school community and make a lasting difference.

• A good understanding of how to support pupils with ASD and SEMH needs.

• A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or the willingness to apply for one).
