Career Teachers Sheffield are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join our supply team and work across a variety of Primary schools in Barnsley. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and want flexibility in their working week.

As a supply Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons
• Assist pupils with learning activities in class and small groups
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Provide additional support for pupils with SEND or specific needs
• Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing

This role offers variety and flexibility, allowing you to gain experience in different schools while making a real impact on pupils’ education.

• Have previous experience working with children in an educational setting
• Are adaptable, proactive, and confident in supporting learning across different year groups
• Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills
• Are committed to inclusive education and helping every child succeed
• Work effectively as part of a team and independently
• Have competent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a school or childcare setting
• Fluent English - written and spoken
