OverviewAs a Senior Personal Banker in Barnsley, you’ll proactively support customers, helping them realise the full benefits of our service through our digital channels, as well as assisting with more complex financial needs such as home buying and protection.
What you’ll do- Build great relationships with customers and promote our digital services.
- Act as a trusted expert, providing knowledge to help customers make the most of their money.
- Deliver the popular Financial Health check and ensure customers are fully informed about our products and services.
- Support customers via video banking from home or face‑to‑face in a branch.
- Conduct Financial Health checks and review customer accounts.
- Identify products and services that suit customers’ needs and help with mortgages, private banking, business banking and protection.
- Complete outbound care calls to grow and maintain relationships.
- Experience of working in a customer service environment with the ability to thrive under pressure and achieve customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work with and coach the branch team to acquire, grow and retain quality customer relationships via regular customer care calls.
- Build rapport and trust with customers in both face‑to‑face and virtual environments and provide appropriate options.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in building relationships.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Organised, self‑motivated, diligent individuals passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
