Project Manager, Operations Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager

The Opportunity

An established UK contractor delivering large-scale industrial and food & beverage projects is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support continued growth and a strong forward workload.

The business delivers projects nationwide, with a focus on steel frame base builds and high-value fit out works. Current schemes include multiple projects valued around 20m, now entering enabling works and progressing into full construction phases.

As Project Manager, you will have full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects, from pre-construction handover and enabling works through to final completion and client handover.

You will lead site teams, manage the supply chain, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.

• End-to-end project delivery and leadership
• Programme planning, monitoring, and reporting
• Commercial awareness and cost control in conjunction with the commercial team
• Managing Site Managers and subcontractor performance
• Client liaison and stakeholder management
• Overseeing H&S, quality, and compliance across all phases of the project
• Risk management and resolution of technical or delivery issues
• Coordinating steel frame construction and complex fit out packages

• Proven Project Management experience on 10m-30m construction projects
• Strong background in steel frame construction
• Experience in food & beverage, industrial, or commercial fit out environments
• Sound commercial and contractual understanding
• Ability to manage multiple work streams and demanding programmes
• Willingness to travel and work nationwide
• SMSTS and CSCS (essential)
• Construction-related qualifications

• Salary up to 80,000 (depending on experience)
