What we are looking forWe are looking for nurturing and supportive people, who can provide outstanding childcare and support our young people to achieve amazing outcomes.
Our beautiful home in Barnsley is a dual home that offers a homely setting for up to two young people who need a therapeutic placements. Our teams support their young people with all of their domestic needs, education, socialisation skills while learning new things and experiencing fun activities and excursions together. We can offer educational places in our schools where our young people can engage in a more personalised education plan to help them thrive and reach their full potential.
Whatwe can offer a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker

- A minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential care home
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- In depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice
- A Full driving licence issued in the UK
- Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
- Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
- Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
Successful employment is subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices (the company will cover the costs).
