Management Accountant

A FTSE 250 manufacturing company in Barnsley have a vacancy for a Management Accountant.

For nearly 50 years this company has been growing and developing and supplying the nation with our food

Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be producing monthly management accounts for the site

• Post all journals, accruals, prepayments
• Management of site expenses system
• Full reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Preparation of monthly site VAT return and National Statistics
• Cashflow and Cap Ex forecasting submissions
• Review of supplier statement reconciliations
• Ensure Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger operate effectively and efficiently
• Point of contact for internal and external auditors.

You will be;

• Qualified or Qualified by experience Accountant
• Knowledge of financial accounting and reporting
• Good MS office skills e.g. excel
• Person with drive and enthusiasm
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Able to identify problems and own them through to resolution
