Role: Accounts Senior

Location: Barnsley

Salary: £37,000 - £42,000

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, well-established accountancy practice in Barnsley. The firm has been highly regarded in the area for many years and is looking for an experienced accounting professional to join their friendly and long-standing team as a Accounts Senior
.

• Managing a portfolio of clients, preparing annual accounts and tax computations for more complex assignments
• Reviewing and gathering information for personal tax returns
• Holding client meetings to discuss financial statements, tax positions and planning opportunities
• Allocating work to colleagues and providing guidance, support and feedback
• Reviewing work for accuracy, presentation and adherence to internal procedures
• Identifying opportunities to enhance client service or introduce additional services

• UK practice experience is essential
• Ideally ACCA/ACA qualified and also QBE candidates will be considered
• Excellent technical skills with strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Confident managing client relationships and handling queries
• Positive, proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team
